Keeping You Safe

Keeping You Safe

The team at the Dearne Playhouse have been working extremely hard to ensure that anyone who visits our venue in the near future is not only as safe as possible, but feels as safe as possible.

Here are a few additional measures we have put in place to ensure everyone safety both front of house, and backstage:

Advance & Online Booking Only - To avoid unnecessary contact, we have moved ALL our show bookings online. No face to face bookings, which means all tickets must be pre-booked through our website, and 'walk-in' bookings are not available.

Reduced Capacity & Socially Distanced Bookings - To help our audiences feel safe in our auditorium, we have introduced a socially distant booking system. This means that when you book your tickets, we will automatically block out the seats around you meaning you wil have no-one sat in front, behind or either side of your party. This obviously means that capacity will also be heavily reduced to make it easier moving through the building.

Additional Cleaning Routines - Although we have always worked extra hard to keep our theatre clean, we have introduced more regular cleaning routines, as well as extra products and equipment that will help ensure the cleanliness of the whole theatre, especially those high touch points.

Social Distancing - This one speaks for itself, but we have implemented a social distance rule when moving around our theatre.

Hand Sanitizing Stations - We have added plenty of hand sanitizer around our theatre, at regular points, and in high touch zones.

Face Masks - Like most indoor venues, we ask that if you can wear a mask, that you do so, in line with government guidelines.

One Way system - We have implemented a one way system around our theatre to ensure as much social distancing as possible.

Please Note: We will continue to follow government guidelines, and if any rules should change or need to be added, we will update this page as soon as possible.
