Rutherford Returns!

Tim Rutherford has been 'treading the boards' for over 50 years and working in the professional theatre since 2007.
He has appeared in a number of feature films (inc 'Money Kills', 'The Last Days of Edgar Harding') as well as TV appearances ( inc 'Emmerdale', 'The Great Train Robbery' & 'The Jeremy Bamber Murders').
Pro stagework includes 'Dies Arae' & 'Stop at a Winner' as well as pantomime tours.
The last time Tim was on the Dearne stage was in Jack and the Beanstalk in 2017 when he played Dame Trot alongside his daughter Louise who played Jack. Yes! It was father & daughter playing mother & son!!

Tim is returning this summer in GOLDILOCKS AND THE THREE BEARS as Dame Luna La Tarte. It's an absolute pleasure for us to have Tim return to our stage...or so he told us.

The 'Dearne Playhouse Presents' team have had their rest after the huge success of our 2018 Pantomimes, 'The Snow Queen' and 'Peter Pan' and are back on the creative train to bring you, yet another Summer Sizzler, this year with yet another Dearne Playhouse first, 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears'.

Doomed to lose their circus can Danny the Clown, Alfonzo the Ringmaster and Circus owner Dame Luna La Tarte save their Big Top from the wicked Baron Von Whippem? Will Alfonzo win the hand of the beautiful Goldilocks? It might just take three amazing bears to join the circus and save the day.
