A new theatre company has opened at the Dearne Playhouse by top musical director, Helen Ingham.

Being part of a theatre company can be beneficial in more ways than you could ever imagine.

If you have the desire to perform in any way then a theatre company can be uplifting and provide a high degree of achievement and satisfaction and it is well established that singing, acting and dancing are good for health and team building.

Here at The Dearne Playhouse we hope to build a theatre company that will perform 4 main shows a year. Whilst our priority is to stage first class musicals we also intend to include plays and dance in our repertoire.

All ages are welcome; the company is divided into two age groups, up to 14 and the main company 14yrs and over.

The cost for the junior company is £2.50 and the main company is £3.50. Both will include light refreshments. Junior rehearsals commence at 6.30pm and the main companybegins at 7.45pm every Tuesday evening at The Dearne Playhouse. Please phone prior to arriving as the theatre schedule may require us to change nights or venue periodically.
