The New Dearne Playhouse

Welcome to the official website of the Dearne Playhouse.

The Theatre was officially opened on July 15th, 2006 by the Dearne's very own Brian Blessed.

As ever, Brian was full value and entertained the large crowds both inside and outside the theatre, where the Dearne Gala was being held, and even gave a quick rendition of his "Stars in their Eyes" winning Pavarotti performance.

Everyone at the Dearne Playhouse would like to thank Brian and everyone that attended the event for helping to make it such a huge success.
